Beaver Men’s Hockey Gameday – Game 24 – January 12, 2019 – vs Alaska

The Beaver Mens Hockey team looks for a sweep tonight by hosting the Nanooks of Alaska. BSU shutout Alaska Friday night 3-0. Owen Sillinger, Tyler Vold, and Ethan Somoza scored for the Beavers.

Following Friday’s win, Bemidji State is now 13-4-3 versus the Nanooks since the series began in 1982, which includes a 8-2-2
mark when hosting the series. BSU is now unbeaten in the last four games versus Alaska (3-0-1), while four of the last nine meetings have been pushed to
overtime. BSU is 1-1-2-1 in those games with a 3-on-3 OT win Feb. 15, 2018.

    Hockey day?
    will all vendors / concessions be able to take credit cards?
    what time do gates open on Friday?
    will thermos be allowed on Friday / Saturday for the outdoor games?
    will bags with blankets be allowed for the outdoor games?

    Missed the first period but the east coast chapter of the Tommy Muck fan club is watching the snow come down heavily in DC and listening to the awesome radio broadcast!

    Between tonight and tomorrow:
    the closer you get to DC its around 5-8″ south of that is up to 12″
    around Baltimore its about 5″

    Did I miss the lnews why Zach is starting all these games instead of alternating when it appeared to me that Henry was playing better than Zach?

    BTW….. the Muckster played in Hockey Day MN in 2013 on Lake Pokegama in a 9 to 2 win over Hibbing and then the next year on the outdoor ice before the 2014 Hockey City Classic where the Gophers played Ohio State at Mariucci. Good times!
