- Updated: January 18, 2019

The Bemidji State University men’s ice hockey team (10-11-3; 8-7-1-0 WCHA) is back in Bemidji this weekend to wrap up a four-game homestand and hosts Michigan Technological University (11-11-2; 10-5-1-1 WCHA) for a two-game Western Collegiate Hockey Association series. Following an outdoor match up to kick off 2019 Hockey Day Minnesota festivities Friday, the teams return to the confines of Sanford Center for the series finale Saturday.
This will be BSU’s first outdoor game since the 1966-1967 season, which was the first under Head Coach RH Bob Peters.
Our pregame coverage begins at 6:30pm CST, with the faceoff set for 7:07pm tonight on Mix 103.7 and online at beaverradionetwork.com.

Couldn’t get the plane tickets to pan out with the work schedule so couldn’t get to Bemidji today. So mad! But glad that you guys are doing the TV broadcast!
Of course since I am not there the Muckster is going to get his first goal but at least I will see it live on TV with Schultzie on the call!

Just checked out one of the webcams over looking the parking lot and lake. What a great sight!!!!
Parking lot looks full and loads of people just walking around. You can really see the flags around the rink snapping in the wind.
Duo play by play a real nice touch and the boards sound lively with the puck cracking off them.
Great job Bemidji.
My only hope for all your of you is that the game dosen’t go to to overtime. That would just be cruel.
Cheers from Winnipeg

I’m still shocked they did not move this game indoors to the Sanford Center. Any word what the cutoff temperature was?
– 15? -20 degrees? But what a memorable game for everyone involved! Go Beavers!
