BSU Men’s Basketball returns to the court after 10-day break

The Bemidji State University Men’s Basketball team will travel to St. Cloud State University on Thursday, Dec. 1 before hosting University of Minnesota, Duluth Saturday, Dec. 3 after 10-day break. The Beavers and Huskies tip-off at 7:30 p.m., Thursday followed by a 3 p.m., start time against the Bulldogs at the BSU Gymnasium on Saturday.
 
The Series vs St. Cloud State
St. Cloud State leads the all-time series against Bemidji State, 52-102.
The Beavers and Huskies last met Feb. 19, 2022, with a 92-89 win by BSU in Bemidji, Minn.
St. Cloud State leads the series 58-22 when hosting Bemidji State.
BSU and SCSU first met Jan. 6, 1922, an 47-13 win by SCSU.

The Series vs Minnesota Duluth
Minnesota Duluth leads the all-time series against Bemidji State, 92-51.
The Beavers and Bulldogs last met Feb. 17, 2022, with an 88-73 win by UMD in Duluth, Minn.
Minnesota Duluth leads the series 45-31 when playing at Bemidji State.
BSU and UMD first met Feb. 21, 1931, an 28-26 win by BSU.
 

BSU won its first Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference game against University Minnesota, Crookston 79-74 Tuesday, Nov. 22 in their last action.

Dalton Albrecht led the scoring for the Beavers against the Golden Eagles with 19 points. All five starters recorded double-digit points that night, the second time this season.

John Sutherland earned his first career NSIC North Division Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 21

Bemidji State is converting on more than half of its shots, 52.0% from the field, which is second in the NSIC.

Leading the scoring for the Beavers is junior John Sutherland with 111 points averaging 18.5 per game.

Dalton Albrecht and Sutherland have both put-up double-digit points in every game this season so far.

Bemidji State leads the NSIC in points per game with 91.2 and is tied for tenth in the NCAA

Sutherland is averaging 8.5 rebounds per game and leads the team and is fourth in the NSIC with 51.

Mohamed Kone is leading the Beavers in assists with 24 and Brayden Williams is right behind him with 23.

Bemidji State leads the NSIC in scoring offense and 12th in scoring defense.

BSU is second in field goal percentage (.520) and first in 3-point field goal percentage (.427).

The Beavers are 10th in turnovers but are fourth in assist to turnover ratio.
