The No. 6 University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs earned an 8-1 victory over the Bemidji State University Women’s Hockey team in their Western Collegiate Hockey Association series opener Friday night at AMSOIL Arena.

Minnesota Duluth opened the game by scoring six, unanswered goals in the first two periods before senior Reece Hunt scored the lone goal for the Beavers 3:05 into the third period.
