WCHA Women’s Hockey Teams to Participate in Breast Cancer Awareness Month

MADISON, Wis. – The Western Collegiate Hockey Association’s eight member women’s teams will participate in promotions to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Each of the eight teams will be involved in at least one promotional event throughout October and each team will wear a patch on their uniforms, encouraging Breast Cancer Awareness.

Various promotional activities will take place to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. Spectators are encouraged to wear pink clothing in support of all those affected by breast cancer.
