VIDEO – Jessie Althoff – BSU Womens Basketball – Beaver Fever Friday (A Few Days Early)

• The Beavers lost 100-57 in an exhibition at South Dakota State Oct. 27. BSU was led by 14 points each from seniors Morgan Lee and Kate Warmack.
• North Dakota – coming off 11-18 overall, 6-14 Big Sky records – were pegged to finish eighth in the Big Sky Conference Preseason Coaches’ Poll, ninth in the media poll. UND hosted University of Minnesota Crookston in an exhibition game Nov. 2 and won 85-66 behind 11 points and 12 rebounds from senior Madi Buck.
• Coming off an 11-16 overall and 7-15 mark in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play, the Beavers were picked to finish 14th in the 2013-14 NSIC Preseason Coaches’ Poll.
• BSU welcomed seven newcomers to the program this fall and returned 10 players from the 2012-13 squad. The Beavers have three seniors and two juniors.
• Senior Morgan Lee finished 12th in the NSIC last season with 13.8 points per game.
• UND/Grand Forks Connections: The game will be a bit of a homecoming for senior Kate Warmack (East Grand Forks HS). Junior Melissa Youngblut’s sister is an assistant coach for North Dakota.
