The Beavers improved to 14-4 overall and 11-3 in NSIC play Jan. 24-25 by going on the road and defeating U-Mary (68-59) and Minot State (84-68) to extend their winning streak to seven games. The winning streak is the longest by BSU since the 2004-05 team rattled off seven straight from Jan. 22-Feb. 18. The Beavers have won four straight road games for the first time since the 2004-05 squad posted four road wins during their streak. During the winning streak, Bemidji State is shooting 56.9 percent, helping its season shooting percentage to a league-best 51.6 percent (eighth nationally). BSU also leads the NSIC in free throw percentage (76.3%) and 3-point percentage (41.1%). Senior Maxie Rosenbloom is second in the NSIC and tied for 16th nationally in total rebounds with 171 boards (9.5 rpg).

• BSU’s 51.6 shooting percentage sits eighth in the nation, while its 41.1 percentage from beyond the arc is 14th in the nation and the 76.3 percentage from the charity stripe ranks 19th.
• The Beavers shot 71.2 percent from the field Jan. 10 at Augustana to establish a program record and post a mark that stands first in NCAA Division II this season. The squad shot 68.5 percent Dec. 20 versus Minnesota Crookston to break the previous school record. The shooting effort is fourth in the nation this season.
• BSU has twice recorded 16 steals in a game this season, which is an NSIC season-high. The team’s 8.4 steals per game is second in the league and ranks 35th nationally.
• With three 100-plus point games, the Beavers rank third in the NSIC in scoring with 82.7 points per game. The teams scoring defense also ranks third, allowing 69.6 points per game. BSU’s +13.1 scoring margin is third in the NSIC and 21st nationally.
• The Beavers have recorded six games with 20 or more assists and are second in the NSIC (39th nationally) in the category with 15.9 assists per game.
• Senior Jake Schalow owns a 94.0 percentage from the free throw line to rank third nationally (min. 2.5 made per game).
• Schalow’s 7-of-8 (87.5%) performance from 3-point land versus Minnesota Crookston Dec. 20 ranks tied for third nationally for 3-point percentage (min. 7 made) in a game.
• Schalow is shooting an NSIC-best 54.2 percent from the field.
• Senior Maxie Rosenbloom recorded a career-high 21 points and a BSU program record 24 rebounds Dec. 6 versus St. Cloud State to post the first 20-point, 20-rebound performance in program history. The rebound total ties as the third best single-game performance in NCAA Division II this season.
• Rosenbloom’s 9.5 rebounds per game is first in the league and 30th nationally, while his 64.8 shooting percentage also ranks first in the NSIC.
• Rosenbloom owns seven double-doubles this season to sit tied for the lead the league and rank 25th in NCAA Division II.
• Senior Michael Farrington ranks second in the NSIC and ranks 50th in the nation in steals per game with a 2.1 mark. His 37 steals is 38th nationally.
• Junior Brock Lutes has recorded 30 points three times this season to sit as the only player in the NSIC to score 30-plus points three times. Lutes’ nine games with 20-plus points ranks tied for first in the NSIC, while senior Zach Noreen’s eight games is tied for second. Lutes is second the league in scoring with 19.3 points per game, while Noreen sits sixth with 17.2 points per game.
