BSU opens the regular season Sept. 7, when it travels to Brookings, S.D. to battle NCAA Division I opponent, South Dakota State University for a 1 p.m. nonconference contest. The NSIC officially gets underway Sept. 9 with a trip to Crookston, Minn. for a 4 p.m. matchup with University of Minnesota Crookston.

The North Dakota State University soccer team got a pair of assists from Jaclyn Scanlan en route to a 2-1 exhibition victory over Bemidji State University August 19th in Fargo, North Dakota.

The Bison took the first lead of the game on a goal from Anisha Kinnerath in the 23rd minute of play. Lauren Miller followed suit in the 55th minute.

Trailing 2-0, the Beavers got the benefit of an own goal to come within a goal of NDSU, but were unable to pocket the equalizer and dropped the 2014 exhibition opener.

The Bison outshot the Beavers 7-4 in the game, while each team took three corner kicks.

Bemidji State is now 0-6-0 versus the Bison. The last three meeting versus the NCAA Division I opponent have been by one goal, which includes a double-overtime, 2-1, loss in 2012.
