The Bemidji State men’s hockey team beat the Alaska Nanooks 6-1 at the Sanford Center on Friday night, winning the WCHA opener. Charlie O’Connor scored twice. BSU held Alaska to 0-7 on the power play. Matt Prapevessis, Nate Arentz, Brendan Harms and Phil Marinaccio also scored for BSU.
Game two of the WCHA series will be Saturday at 7:07pm. The Beaver Radio Network’s Benusa Pregame Show starts at 6:30pm.
