The Bemidji State University women’s basketball team continues road action to begin the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference season while playing St. Cloud State University and University of Minnesota Duluth. The Beavers (4-1, 0-1 NSIC) and Huskies (1-3, 1-0 NSIC) tipoff at 6 p.m. in Halenbeck Hall Friday while the Beavers and Bulldogs (0-4, 0-1 NSIC) play at 4 p.m. in Romano Gymnasium Saturday.

The Beavers trail the Huskies in the 50-game series, 15-35, which dates back to 1969. Bemidji State has won one of the previous five meetings, 99-82, Dec. 6, 2013 in Bemidji. St. Cloud State won the most recent matchup, 61-55, Jan. 10, 2015.

Bemidji State and Minnesota Duluth meet for the 95th time in history, led by UMD 66-29. The Bulldogs have won the last five meetings, including a 78-65 win on Jan. 9, 2015.
