The Bemidji State University women’s basketball team held an 11-point lead in the second quarter, but a second-half comeback by University of Mary led to a 71-66 loss Sunday afternoon in Bismarck, N.D. Aimee Pelzer tied a career high with 23 points for the Beavers (5-7, 1-7 NSIC).

BSU, which also lost at Minot State last week, will host UMD and SCSU this weekend at the Sanford Center. Both games Saturday and Sunday will be broadcast on the Beaver Radio Network.
