The Bemidji State football team opens the season in one week, hosting Upper Iowa in the Community Appreciation Day game. Kickoff on the Beaver Radio Network is at 6pm September 1st.

The Beavers return 11 starters on offense, and eight on defense. One of the eight on defense is Damon Benham, a senior D-Back from Deer River, Minnesota. Damon talks about the upcoming season, and the expectations of this year’s team.
