Beaver Men’s Hockey Gameday – Game 37 – March 2, 2018 – WCHA Quarterfinals vs Michigan Tech

Bemidji State opens the WCHA Playoffs by hosting Michigan Tech. These two teams split the only series of the year in Houghton. BSU won on Friday night. Tech won on Saturday night. BSU is led in scoring by Kyle Bauman with 9 goals and 20 assists. Tech is led in scoring by Jake Luccini with 13 goals and 16 assists.

The best-of-three series continues Saturday at 7:07pm and if needed, Sunday at 5:07pm.

    Pathetic! No discipline! The refs didn’t lose the game…the Beavers lost the game. 20 minutes of power play… UNBELIEVABLE! I listened online visiting my granddaughter in Portland, Oregon. Wow! Come on guys and suck it up! Discipline fellas. Stay out of the box tomorrow…and Sunday!

    Listening on WCHA TV, the radio color guy has got to find something else to comment on other than the penalties, sounds ridiculous. Bottom line they were penalties, and as coach said “we beat ourselves”!!!
