The performance wasn't great...but it was a marked improvement from a week prior.  Bemidji State shut out Southwest in the second half, after trailing 14-12 at the half, to cruise to a 30-14 win on the road Saturday.

BSU accounted for 401 yards of offense, while limiting SMSU to just 31 yards rushing, to improve to 2-1 on the season.

Dustin Kroeplin carried the ball 18 times for 96 yards and two touchdowns, as BSU controlled the line of scrimmage in the second half, controlling the ball for 11:11 in the fourth quarter, and 34:11 in the game.

BSU travels to MN Duluth next Saturday in another 6pm kickoff.
