Beavers Sputter Out of the Gate, Lose 2-1

Shea Walters scored his fifth goal of the season, but it was too little in a 2-1 loss at Lake State Saturday night. The Beavers could only muster one shot in the first period, getting out-shot 29-21 for the game.
BSU finishes a rough first five weeks (with just one home series) with a 4-6 record. They return home to face Omaha Friday and Saturday night.
