Men's Hockey - Beavers Out-Shoot, Out-Score Chargers, Win 3-0

The Bemidji State men's hockey team shut out the Alabama Huntsville Chargers Friday night, winning 3-0. After a scoreless first period, Jake Areshenko and Shea Walters scored in the second period. Ben Kinne added an empty net goal in the third.
BSU once again had to kill off a five-minute major as Jake Areshenko was called for a check from behind. BSU hasn't given up a goal all season on a five minute penalty kill situation.
Game two of the series is Saturday night at the Sanford Center.
