Men's Hockey - Beavers Beat Mavericks, Mattson and George Score

The BSU men's hockey team knocked off the MSU-Mankato Mavericks 2-1 Friday night, snapping a two game losing skid in the process. Danny Mattson scored his second of the season, while Jordan George had the game-winner.
BSU was 3-for-3 on the penalty kill, including another five-minute-major.
Game two of the series is Saturday night at 7:07pm.
