Food Network Profiles BSU Hockey Family

The family of Bemidji State University women's ice hockey forward Sadie Lundquist (So., Cloquet, Minn.) has owned and operated a small, but well-known, diner in Cloquet, Minn. for the past 50 years. The Food Network's 'Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives' and host Guy Fieri will feature a recent visit to Gordy's Hi-Hat during the episode entitled 'You Called It' Monday at 9 p.m. CST.

The Food Network spent nearly 20 hours filming over the course of two days to prepare its feature of the restaurant. During the first day of taping the show profiled the restaurant along with its cooking methods. On the second day, Fieri was on site to sample the food and interview Gordy and Marilyn Lundquist, Sadie's grandparents, who have served as centerpieces of the family business since opening the Northern Minnesota landmark in 1960.
