Matt Read Signs With Flyers

Former Bemidji State men's hockey player Matt Read has signed with the Philadelphia Flyers. Terms of the deal weren't announced, but reports indicate the deal is a three-year, one-way contract. that means Read will be paid an NHL salary, even if he's playing in the minors.
Read will play the rest of this season with the Adirondack Phantoms of the AHL.
Read, and the Beavers, finished this season at 15-18-5.
