Women Lose Twice, Finish 2010

Bemidji State lost twice this weekend, wrapping up 2010 with a 4-6 record. After a strong opening to the game Bemidji State University went on a scoring drought only scoring one basket in 10 minutes as the University of Mary defeated the Beavers 72-50 on Saturday night in Bismarck, N.D.
On Friday night, Bemidji State University's poor shooting and Northern State University's dominance on the glass led the Wolves past BSU 64-41.
Anna Hebrink (Sr., G, Austin, Minn.) paced the Beavers with 13 points on five of nine shooting. Hebrink connected on three shots from beyond the arc.
Bemidji State was led by Shannon Thompson (So., G, Rosemount, Minn.) with nine points on three of six shooting from the floor Friday.
