Bemidji State women’s basketball upset the 2nd place team in the NSIC, St. Cloud State on Friday night at the BSU Gymnasium, then followed it up with a triple overtime thriller on Saturday against the NSIC Regular Season Champions, Minnesota Duluth.
The Beavers defeated the Huskies 65-62, but fell the next night 92-80 against the Bulldogs to wrap up the regular season. Bemidji State finishes the regular season in 6th place in the NSIC North with a conference record of 6-16 and 9-17 overall.
BSU heads into the playoffs playing their best basketball. They will travel to Sioux Falls, SD to battle Coach Chelsea DeVille’s alma mater, 3rd seeded Augustana this Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. Tune in to the Beaver Radio Network and 94.3 FM The Legends beginning at 5:00 p.m. as Kelly Schultz brings you all the action.
