The Bemidji State University Women’s Hockey team fell 5-0 to No. 4 Quinnipiac University Friday afternoon in game one of the Nutmeg Classic hosted by the Bobcats. Bemidji State now falls to 3-13-1 on the season while the fourth-ranked Bobcats improve to 13-1-0.

Junior goaltender Hannah Hogenson made 34 saves for the Beavers as Bemidji State was out-shot 39-18 and junior Catie Boudiette earned her third shutout of the season for Quinnipiac.

Bemidji State will now face Sacred Heart University in the consolation game Saturday at 2:00 p.m. CT.
