Track and Field enjoys successful alumni meet

Kicking off the 2023 season before the schedule officially starts again, the Bemidji State University women’s track and field team welcomed the alumni back to campus for the annual alumni meet that took place this past Saturday at the Gillett Wellness Center.

Seveeral events took place including the weight throw, long jump, pole vault, shot put and high jump in the field. On the track, the alumni mile, 60-hurdles, 600-meters, 200-meters, 60-meters, the Bucky Kids 60-meter and then the 4×200 wrapped up the day.

The Beavers will continue the season this weekend traveling to the Twin Ports Open in Superior, Wisconsin.
