John in Dahlonega – Thanks for the question Schultzie- I was born in Bemidji, and have family in Lake George, and a couple of siblings that are Bemidji State alums. After moving around the country for most of my professional career I came back to Minnesota in 1999. We lived in the cities and bought a cabin on Lake George, and I started coming to BSU games that year. I met Herb and Lynne Doran that year—what a blessing that was. Had season tickets from about 2009 until we moved to Dahlonega in 2019. This is home for my wife Barb and her family.

Anna Joseph – Kept hoping someone else would let you guys know per yesterday’s conversation Detroit is 7 hours from Marquette where Green Bay is 3 hours. Much of the UP are packers fans (go lions). Also highly recommend the “French babe” at Minnesota nice cafe!
