Harrison Watt – Dear Biss,

Thanks for reading Big Rapids’ Wikipedia page. Wildly entertaining. Brian – do you have a favorite road establishment for pre or post game meal?

Joy and John Hoffman – Joy and I are down in the Twin Cities at the retirement party of an alum and former Foundation Board chair, but we’re tracking the game! GO BEAVERS!

Nathan Jewett – I worked in the Saginaw area for about a year and a half, and agree that Meijer’s are the best!! Their deli isn’t as good as Luekens, but the rest of the store is Awesome!!

Let’s go green!!

John in Dahlonega –

Susan Vraa – Might no want to read this on the air. We were on our way home tonight listening to the broadcast at the start of the 2nd period. Could have sworn I heard puck/stick noise. But all Brian was talking about was where to eat on the road. Beavers scored 44 seconds in. No play by play from the start of the period until the horn went off and snapped Brian back to the game. Pretty sure he didn’t even see the goal. 43 seconds in and not a single play by play conversation. And this isn’t the first time. We watch at home a lot and have realized if we were listening only to the radio, we wouldn’t even know the puck was in play. Talk about where to eat during dead time. We want to hear about the game. Start a blog or webcast if you want to talk about your roadtrip adventures, but when the puck is in play, please talk hockey.

SV

Mike and Amy – In the sauna, Sand Lake Isabella…. Go Beavers!

john in dahlonega – And, just like that, it’s the regular season. Hard to imagine this will be Tommy’s last season behind the bench. He’s the only coach I’ve seen lead this team. Did get to meet Coach Peters at a spaghetti supper in 2009. Herb & Lynn were also at the table along with a winger (whose name escapes me at the moment) that had an absolute howitzer for a shot.
Ah… memories. Let’s make it a great year.

Go Beavs!

Brian – When was the last time the Beavs have had 6 or more goals?

Tony –
