The Bemidji State baseball team battled back from an early 3-0 deficit, to beat the Winona State Warriors 5-4 Thursday night in the NSIC Conference Tournament. The Beaver tied the game at four int he 7th inning, before loading the bases with nobody out in the bottom of the ninth. After two ground outs, Jarys Marks singled to right, scoring Zach Braun. Jack Hagarty gets the win in relief, pitching a scoreless ninth inning.
The Beavers advance to face Minnesota State Mankato on Friday afternoon. The winner of that game advances to the NSIC Championship game. The loser will head to the losers bracket final on Saturday at noon.
With the win, the broadcast season of the Beaver Radio Network will continue. The BRN will broadcast all BSU games from St Cloud on Saturday and Sunday if needed. Check back for more details.
