The Western Collegiate Hockey Association made its official announcement today that the 2014 Women’s Final Face-Off will be played at the Sanford Center in Bemidji. This is the first time Bemidji State University has hosted this tournament. The tournament will be held on March 7-8, 2014.

The Sanford Center has been the home of Bemidji State University women’s and men’s hockey since October 2010. It seats 4,707 for hockey, including 25 suites.

The BSU women’s hockey team finished the 2012-13 season in 8th place with a record of 6-26-2 overall and 5-22-1 in WCHA play.
