The Bemidji State men’s hockey team sputtered out of the gate, but defeated the Bowling Green Falcons 4-1 in front of an announced crowd of 3547 Friday night. BSU was out-shot 27-16 on the night, and went 0-for-3 on the power play. Andrew Walsh made 26 saves on the night in the win, his third in a row.
The lone goal stopped Andrew Walsh’s shutout streak at 163:02, nearly 2 1/2 games.
BSU will wrap up non-conference play Saturday night, playing the Falcons at the Sanford Center at 7:07pm. Our Budweiser pregame show starts at 6:30pm.
