Jordan George scored twice, as the BSU Beavers beat the UAA Seawolves 2-1 Friday night in Anchorage. In BSU’s first ever trip to Alaska, George scored twice in the first period, and BSU held on to win 2-1.
BSU did not take a penalty on the night, while the Beavers were 0-for-3 on the power play.
The regular season ends Saturday night. With a BSU win and a Wisconsin loss, BSU will finish ninth in the standings and travel to Grand Forks for the playoffs. Otherwise, BSU will finish tenth and will travel to Denver.
