The Bemidji State University football team plays host to Northern State University in its final game of the 2014 season. A 1 p.m. kickoff is set from scenic Chet Anderson Stadium.

BSU comes into this weekend holding a 3-7 overall record and a 3-3 record in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) North Division play, while the Wolves are 7-3 and 5-1 in divisional play.

The Beavers compiled 397 yards of total offense, including 205 yards rushing in their 27-21 loss against MSU Moorhead. In the red zone BSU was 3-for-5 (60%).

Jordan Hein led the Beavers offensive second half comeback as he threw for 144 yards going 12-for-23 and threw for one touchdown against the BSU 27-21 loss to MSU Moorhead.

In the air it is Brady Schmidt leading BSU with 44 receptions for 460 yards and five touchdowns. Schmidt charted seven catches for 82 yards and one touchdown last weekend.

Tahi Nomane led the Beavers run game against MSU Moorhead totaling 99 yards on 25 carries and put up two touchdowns to now lead BSU’s 2014 single game high for rushes (25), yards rushing (99) and tied for touchdown runs (2).

Nomane is second on the team with 261 yards rushing with five touchdowns on the season. He also broke multiple career records in rushing attempts (25), rushing yards (99) and tied his rushing touchdown record of two.

Juwaan Richard posted a single game high for the season with a 33-yard kickoff return in the third quarter against MSUM.

Chais Wakefield recorded seven punts for 232 yards with his longest being 41 yards. Wakefield put three of his punts in the 20-yard line and one going as a touchback.

Connor Quinn leads the “Gang Green” defense with 91 tackles along with 16.5 tackles for a loss and 6.5 sacks. Quinn’s 17 tackles against MSU Moorhead go down as a career high and a BSU single game high this season.
