Jolynne Denman and Nicole Crummy posted season-best times Saturday to lead the Bemidji State University track and field team at the University of Wisconsin-Superior’s Yellowjacket Open.

In the field, Ciara Brewster led the way for BSU recording a throw of 39 feet, 5.75 inches to take second place in the shot put.

The Beavers return to Bemidji, Minn. and the Gillett Recreation/Fitness Center Thursday to host the BSU Twilight. Events are set to begin at 3 p.m.
