BSU keeps moving up the national polls. In their highest ranking ever, BSU is ranked #7 in BOTH the USCHO and USA Today polls. BSU has moved up to #10 in the INCH Power Rankings.

The INCH top ten is: Miami, North Dakota, Cornell, Denver, UMASS Lowell, Michigan, Omaha, Notre Dame, Alaska and BSU. Not bad company! They have Duluth at #16 as the only other Minnesota school ranked.

Most coaches (Tom Serratore included) pay NO attention to the polls. Fans love them (when their team is ranked) and players talk in passing about them, but don’t really care about them.

Also, BSU swept the CHA players of the week.

Matt Read was the offensive player, Dan Bakala was the defensive, and Jordan George was the rookie of the week.
