The Bemidji State University women’s tennis team will return home this weekend to take on Concordia College in a nonconference match at 1 p.m., Saturday March 5. The Beavers will then travel to Grand Forks, N.D. on Sunday to face University of Minnesota Crookston at 10 a.m.
Last year the Beavers lost in a close match to Concordia College in Fargo, N.D. on Feb. 1, 2015 with a score ending in 5-4. BSU women’s tennis has already defeated Minnesota Crookston once this season, 7-2.
The Beavers are now 4-4 overall and 3-4 in conference play after dropping a pair of NSIC matches in Sioux Falls, S.D. this past weekend. Bemidji State women’s tennis fell to University of Sioux Falls with a score of 6-3, Saturday, Feb. 27. The Beavers also dropped their final match of the weekend, 9-0, to Augustana University on Sunday, Feb. 28.
The Beavers next action will take place in Bismarck, N.D., April 2-3, against Minnesota State University Moorhead and University of Mary.
