The Bemidji State University soccer team secured the No. 3 seed in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Soccer Tournament and will face sixth-seeded St. Cloud State University in the quarterfinal round at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The Beavers host the first round of the postseason for the first time since 2010.

The top eight teams in the league standings advance to the single-elimination tournament. BSU and the other top four seeds will host first round games Wednesday with the winners advancing to the semifinal and championship rounds Friday and Sunday. The highest remaining seed following the quarterfinals will host the semifinals and championship games.
