The Bemidji State University men’s golf team saved its best for last, carding a 14-over-par 302 in the final round of the 54-hole Holiday Inn Express Classic in October in St. Joseph, Mo.
Bemidji State was led by Cody Cook, who tied for 28th individually at +11 (78-73-76=227), led BSU and posted the team’s best round of the event on the second round of the first day with a 73 (+1). In addition, Aaron Leintz carded a 230 (79-75-76/+14) to sit in a tie for 40th and Sam Otto posted a 54-hole total of 232 (76-79-77/+16) to tie for 50th.
Bemidji State opens the spring portion of the schedule next week at the Washburn Invite in Topeka, Kansas.
