The @BSUBeavers volleyball team returns home this weekend to host No. 11 Northern State University and Minnesota State University, Moorhead, Oct. 20-21. The Beavers (3-17, 0-11 NSIC) start the weekend by hosting the ninth-ranked Wolves (16-3, 9-2 NSIC) at 6 p.m., Friday followed by the Dragons (7-12, 2-9 NSIC) at 2 p.m., Saturday.

Series History
Northern State: The Beavers and Wolves will meet for the 69th meeting since the series began in 1985 and the first meeting in 2017. Northern State holds a slight advantage in the all-time series record at 35-33, and have won nine consecutive matches against the Beavers. Bemidji State and Northern State last met on Oct. 8, 2016 with the Beavers falling in three sets on the road.

MSU-Moorhead: The Beavers and Dragons series history dates all the way back to 1969 and in 131 matches, MSU-Moorhead holds the series record at 74-56-1. The Dragons have had the most recent success in the series, winning the last four matches. Bemidji State and MSU-Moorhead met earlier this season in Minot, N.D., with the Beavers falling 3-1 at the Minot State Classic, Sep. 1.
