The Bemidji State University softball defeated Minnesota State University, Moorhead 12-0 in game one of their series but were held to just three runs in game two to split its doubleheader with the Dragons. The Beavers (13-13, 2-2 NSIC) end the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference opening weekend by going 2-2.

The Bemidji State University softball home doubleheader with University of Mary, April 3, has been cancelled due to poor weather and field conditions.

The Beavers (13-13, 2-2 NSIC) will be in action next this weekend when they travel to Winona State University and Upper Iowa University, Saturday-Sunday.
