Bemidji State Women’s Soccer to host NCAA Central Regional Tournament

The Bemidji State University women’s soccer team earned the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Central Region Tournament Monday night as the field for the NCAA DII Women’s Soccer Tournament was announced.

After winning the program’s first-ever Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Women’s Soccer Tournament title, the Beavers (14-2-5) earned the No. 2 seed and will host the first two rounds of the Central Region Tournament at Chet Anderson Stadium Friday, Nov. 11 and Sunday, Nov. 13. This will be the second time in program history with the Beavers hosting the regional tournament after hosting the tournament in 2018.

Bemidji State’s first round matchup will be against seventh-seed University of Central Oklahoma (11-4-4) scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Friday afternoon. Bemidji State will also host the matchup of third-seed Minnesota State University, Mankato and Northwest Missouri State at Noon on Friday.

The winner of the two games will then face-off Sunday at 3:00 p.m., for a trip to the third round.

The 2022 NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Semifinal and Championship will take place on December 1 & 3 at Interbay Stadium in Seattle, Washington as part of the NCAA Fall Sports Festival.
