Freezing temperatures postpone Beavers Softball home opener

Bemidji State postpone doubleheader with Minnesota Crookston

The Bemidji State University Softball team’s home opener scheduled for Mar. 28 has been postponed due to freezing temperatures in the forecast for the upcoming week. The matchup between Bemidji State and University of Minnesota, Crookston was planned to be the first game of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference for both teams.

The games will be rescheduled for a later date. The Beavers next scheduled game will be a doubleheader in Aberdeen, S.D., with Northern State University on Saturday, Apr. 1, starting at noon. The Beavers’ new home opener is Wednesday, Apr. 5, at 2 p.m., against Minot State University.
