Baseball – Bats Quiet, Gloves Fail, Beavers Swept By Bulldogs

The BSU offense could only muster 11 hits all day as teh UMD Bulldogs swept the Beavers by scores of 3-0 and 8-2.  Duluth scored all three runs in the first game in the sixth inning.  All three runs were un-earned.

The second game didn’t fare much better for the Beavers.  BSU gave up another four un-earned runs.

Logan Kalis took the loss in game one.  Mile Campbell did so in game two.

The Beavers stay at home to face the Upper Iowa Peacocks next Friday and Saturday.  Both doubleheaders can be heard on the Beaver Radio Network.
