The Bemidji State University women’s golf team finished seventh out of eight teams at the Upper Iowa University Spring Invitational held at the Prairie Links Golf Course in Waverly, Iowa, March 30-31. The Beavers totaled a team score of 764 (399-365) at the two-day, two-round tournament.
The Beavers were led by sophomore Lauren Stockmoe who finished 26th individually by carding 176 (88-88). Sophomore Elise Stockmoe followed with a score of 183 (98-85) to finish 35th individually while freshman Taiylor Ellingson followed closely at 186 (100-86) to place 36th. Freshman Grace Van Brocklin rounded out the Beavers’ scores by shooting 219 (113-106) and finished 47th individually.
The Beavers won’t return to action until April 26-28 when they travel to compete at the NSIC Championships.
