Bemidji State University women’s basketball will host Minnesota State University Moorhead and Northern State University to close out their regular season series Jan. 10-11 at BSU Gymnasium.
The Beavers open the weekend at 5:30 p.m. on Friday against the Dragons.
The Series vs. MSU Moorhead
- MSU Moorhead leads the all-time series against Bemidji State, 70-39.
- MSUM has won 16 straight games against BSU, dating back to Feb. 11, 2012. BSU’s most recent win came Dec. 2, 2011, a 75-68 victory.
- The Dragons won the first meeting of the 2019-20 season, 86-57, while ranked 22nd in the WBCA Top 25 Poll.
- Four Beavers scored in double figures, led by sophomore guard Trinity Myer with 12 points. She went 8-of-12 from the free throw line and was followed in scoring by sophomore forward Claire Wolhowe who went 4-of-8 from the field. Juniors Taylor Bray and Sydney Zerr scored 10 points each, which is a season high for Zerr in 2019-20.
- The series began in 1968, a 36-35 win by MSU Moorhead. The series is the longest between Bemidji State and any other opponent at 109 games.
