The Bemidji State Beavers evened their record at 1-1 with a 5-0 win over the Lake Superior State Lakers Saturday night at the Sanford Center. The Beavers had two freshman (Cory Ward and Phil Brewer) scored their first career goals. Andrew Walsh stopped all 25 shots he faced for the shutout.
