Beavers get back to the court for lone March match
The Bemidji State University tennis team travels to Grand Forks, N.D. for lone March match on Mar. 26 versus Bethany Lutheran College. The Beavers and Vikings will meet for the first time at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The non-conference, interdivisional match will be held at Choice Health and Fitness.
The Beavers have had a month-long break since their last competition against University of Minnesota Crookston on Feb. 19 which was also the final home match of the season. They are on a two-match win streak after defeating Upper Iowa University and Minnesota Crookston before the break. BSU sits at 5-4 this season with a 3-4 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference record.
The BLC Vikings have not won a match this season, currently holding a 0-2 record. Prior to the match against the Beavers, they will take on BSU’s fellow NSIC member UMC.
Following BSU’s weekend in Grand Forks, the team will head to Sioux Falls, S.D. to take on University of Sioux Falls and Augustana University Apr. 2 and 3.
