The Bemidji State University women’s cross country team opens its 2022 season Friday evening in Moorhead, Minn. The Beavers will compete at the Dragon Twilight hosted by Minnesota State University, Moorhead and will run the 4,000-meter race at 8 p.m., from the Bluestem Center for the Arts.
The Beavers were picked to finish 11th in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Preseason Women’s Cross Country Coaches’ Poll with junior Mary Goodwin tabbed as the Beavers’ Preseason Athlete to Watch. Bemidji State will also send Josie Aitken, Lexi Erickson, Lily Johnson, Maggie McCarthy, Carol Miller, Callie Ressler, Molly Saboo, Abby Syverson, Nadia Vaughn and Gwen Youso to the event.
The Beavers will compete against Concordia University-St. Paul, Jamestown College, MSU Moorhead, University of Mary, Valley City State University, University of North Dakota, Oak Hills Christian College, North Dakota State University, Minot State University, Dickinson University and Bismarck State University.
