Beavers race at 5,000-meter Jimmie Invite Friday
The Bemidji State University women’s cross-country team competes in their third meet of the season in Jamestown, N.D., at the Jimmie Invite on Friday, October 7, hosted by the University of Jamestown.
After finishes in the top half in one of the largest collegiate cross country meets, the Beavers look for another successful outing. Mary Goodwin has led the Beavers this season with a fifth-place finish in her first meet of the season, running a program record of 14:26.66 in the 4,000-meter race and 23:55.9 in the following 6,000-meter race.
This will be the Beavers first time at the Jimmie Invite and the first 5k the team has competed in since the 2019 Disney Cross Country Classic, where the team finished third.
