Beaver Fever Friday – Lily Johnson – Cross Country

Beavers Head To NSIC CHampionships this weekend.

Bemidji State University junior cross country athlete Mary Goodwin ran a personal best time of 22:30.61 in the 6,000-meter Bob Waxlax Invitational, the second fasted 6K time at Bemidji State.

All nine runners for the Beavers ran personal best times in the 6,000-meter race including Goodwin (10th) and senior Lexi Erickson (15th) who both placed in the top-20.

Goodwin was followed by Erickson who ran a time of 22:46.54 to finish 15th while Maggie McCarthy (24:04.33), Zoey Mills (24:38.63), Carol Miller (24:42.22), Nadia Vaughn (24:55.25), Lily Johnson (24:59.21), Molly Saboo (25:26.70) and Gwen Youso (25:40.10).

The Beavers will now get ready to compete at the NSIC Cross Country Championships Nov. 5 in Wayne Neb. The Beavers will run the 6,000-meter race at the Wayne Country Club.
