Bemidji State Football earns first home playoff game in program history
For the first time in Bemidji State University Football program history, the Beavers will host an NCAA Division II Football Tournament game at Chet Anderson Stadium. The Beavers (9-2) earned the fourth seed in the NCAA Super Region Four bracket and will host Winona State University at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 19.
Bemidji State earns a spot into the NCAA Tournament for just the second time in program history after making it into the tournament last season.
The Beavers roll into the postseason on one of the hottest streaks in program history and have won its last nine games and are back-to-back Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference North Division Champions and NSIC Co-Champions.
Four teams from the NSIC earned a spot into the tournament with Minnesota State University, Mankato playing host to Wayne State College (Neb.) as the regions third seed.
