Winter weather alters Bemidji State Softball’s weekend action
Beavers to travel to St. Cloud instead of Missouri
The Bemidji State University Softball team added four games after winter weather canceled the Missouri Western State University Tournament in St. Joseph, Mo. The Beavers were planned to compete in six games from Friday, Mar. 17 to Sunday but instead will travel to St. Cloud, Minn., for four games at the Husky Dome.
The Beavers’ new schedule is Saturday, Mar. 18 St. Cloud State University (11-9) at 3 p.m., followed by Concordia University-St. Paul at 5 p.m. Then on Sunday, the Beavers face University of Wisconsin-Parkside (9-9) at 9 a.m., followed by CSP at 1 p.m.
Bemidji State is coming off a successful week going 7-3 at The Spring Games and outscored its opponents 43-25 and improved to 10-8 on the season. BSU originally planned to follow The Springs Games up at the MWSU Tournament but due to inclement weather will be traveling to St. Cloud, Minn., instead.
