The Bemidji State men’s hockey team lost a 4-1 lead, then lost the game 5-4 in overtime Friday night at the Sanford Center. Michigan Tech scored their first power play goal of the night to open the scoring in the first. BSU would score the games next four goals, to take a 4-1 lead late into the second period.
MTU would score to pull to within two in the last minute of the second period. Tech would then score two late in the third to tie it…and then the game winner 2:52 into overtime.
